Towering Over San Antonio
Texas is home to many iconic landmarks, but one literally towers above them all. Standing 750 feet tall, Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, Texas, is currently the second tallest observation tower in the United States (first place going to the Strat in Las Vegas).
When visiting the tower, a trip to the 26th floor Observation Deck to take in the breathtaking, 360-degree views of greater San Antonio is a must. You can also purchase souvenirs from the on-site gift shop, or grab a bite to eat at the Chart House, a revolving restaurant where you can dine with a view.
The restaurant has a dress code, prohibiting beachwear, baseball caps, gym attire or excessively revealing clothing. Casual to dressy-casual wear is your most suitable option.
