The Museum
Looking for some artistic inspiration while in San Antonio? Well, look no further than the San Antonio Museum of Art. With over 30,000 individual pieces in its collection, ranging from ancient Egyptian artifacts to contemporary pieces, you’re bound to find what ever tingles your very own artistic senses.
Some highlights of the museum’s extensive collection include Renaissance and Baroque paintings, pre-Columbian sculptures, Asian ceramics, and contemporary installations.
Are you a resident of Bexar County? If your answer is yes, you’re in luck! Each Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm, as well as each Sunday from 10 to 12 pm, residents of Bexar County enjoy free admission to the museum.
