SeaWorld Orlando is a destination for the whole family. It manages a difficult balancing act between being an amusement park, as well as a zoological garden, housing numerous maritime exhibitions and experiences.
One of the park’s many highlights surely are the many shows they put on. “One Ocean” is a must-see performance featuring magnificent killer whales showcasing their strength and agility. “Dolphin Days” is another popular show where you can watch the playful dolphins perform amazing tricks.

These one-of-a-kind experiences allow you to feed and touch dolphins, stingrays, and even penguins, while also providing unique opportunities to learn more about these incredible creatures.
But SeaWorld is far more than just a place to gaze at dolphins. If you’re a true thrill-seeker, the park has you covered as well, with some exhilarating roller coasters that are bound to get your heart racing.
Take “Mako”, for example. The hypercoaster reaches speeds of up to 73 mph, giving everyone aboard a thrilling experience as their soar through the air. “Kraken Unleashed” is another favorite among park-goers, as it cleverly combines the best aspects of a a wild coaster, with a virtual reality ride through the depths of the ocean.
In February off 2022, the park’s newest attraction opened its doors for the first time. “Ice Breaker” is a roller coaster manufactured by Premier Rides, named after the icy peaks of Antarctica. The launched steel coaster reaches a maximum height of 93 feet, while speeding riders at a maximum of 52 miles per hour through its 1,900 feet long layout.
Opening hours
Opening times vary between seasons and may also vary from day to day. Normally, SeaWorld Orlando opens at 9:00 am and closes between 6:00 and 9:00 pm every day. More detailed opening hours can be found on the park’s official website.
