Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is one of two water parks at World Disney World along with Blizzard Beach Water Park. It has one of the largest wave pools in the world.

The park offers many highlights, one of which is probably the surfing lessons that you can take, these take place in its large wave pool and are offered before the park opens or after it closes. You can also admire Mount Mayday, on which the crab boat Miss Tilly stands. Here you have the opportunity to experience 15 meter high fountains on the ship, these are announced with Miss Tilly’s ship’s bell, so a change of clothes is recommended.

But the park has much more to offer for both young and old

  • Humunga Kowabunga: Suitable for older children to adults, this slide drops at a 60 degree angle. If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, this is the place for you.
  • Shark Reef: Here you can dive in a 1 million liter water tank on 2 artificial coral reefs, and see fish of many species but also sharks up close. Of course, you can also watch them in a tank from a safe distance.
  • Storm Slides: If you need something that ends with a big splash, you should try the three storm slides: Stern Buner, Rudder Buster or Jib Jammer.
  • Gangplank Falls: The Gangplank Falls tire slide, which can be tackled by up to 4 people, is 100 m long and is in the middle of the intensity range among raft rides.
  • Keehaul Falls: The most serene of the Typhoon Lagoon water park’s raft rides.

But the park has many other attractions to offer. If you also want to be enchanted by culinary delights, you will also find numerous restaurants and other places to eat and drink here. The park also offers lockers that can be rented for a fee.
