Mount Vernon, located right on the banks of the Potomac River, was once the home of President George Washington.

In addition to the manor house, the property also includes various outbuildings, as well as a blacksmith’s workshop and farm. The museum features numerous exhibits and artifacts that represent the life and work of the first President of the United States.
