Sunken Gardens
From Plumber to Botanist
If you’re truly passionate about something, anything can happen. The best example might be George Turner, Sr. A plumber by trade, whose great passion for gardening eventually turned into a full-time career as a botanist.
In 1922, Turner purchased six acres of land that would eventually become a famous roadside attraction for which he and his wife Eula would start charging money for.
