Overview
Located on the campus of Texas A&M University, the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum holds an archive of over 40 million official records, documenting the life and public service of George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States.
The site is also the burial ground of George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara.
The Museum
The museum is not only dedicated to the presidency of George H.W. Bush, but also his entire life, as well as private and political influences. It hosts rotating exhibits that explore various aspects of President Bush’s life, including his foreign policy achievements, commitment to volunteerism and public service, and his enduring impact on American society.
An exhibition was also dedicated to the First Lady, Barbara Bush. During her lifetime, she campaigned for literacy, as well as AIDS awareness and prevention.

The Library
Adjacent to the museum is the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library, which houses an extensive collection of documents, records, and personal papers related to President Bush’s time in office.
