The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden is a hidden gem nestled amidst the vibrant paradise of the Florida Keys. As the only frost-free botanical garden in the continental United States, where the tropical surroundings bloom green all year round, it is an excellent place to visit, even during the winter months.

And even during the hot, sweltering summer of southern Miami, the botanical garden manages to stick out, being one of the few spots of pure green amidst a the highly urbanized cityscape of the Florida Keys.

Spread across 15 acres, this unique botanical garden is home to a remarkable array of native plants, exotic species, and diverse habitats, showcasing the rich biodiversity of the region.

Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden also serves as a sanctuary for a multitude of rare and endangered species, offering them a protected haven amidst the pressures of urbanization and habitat loss.

Open daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Closes at 1:00 pm on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
