Home of the Tampa Tarpons
George M. Steinbrenner Field is the home of the Tampa Tarpons, as well as the spring training location of the New York Yankees. It is located right across the Dale Mabry Highway, which separates the ballpark from the home of Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Raymond James Stadium.
Being the spring training home of the New York Yankees, Steinbrenner Field has been built to the exact dimensions of the Yankee Stadium in New York. It currently seats 11,026 spectators.
