Welcome to the Tricky Triangle
Should you ever find yourself in a heated argument with a fellow petrolhead over the correct amount of turns on a racing oval, we might have a great argument in favor of, well… three!
We mean, who said that oval tracks need to have four turns? Located in the Pocono Mountains, the “Tricky Triangle” is by all definitions a different breed of oval course. With just three turns, the 2.5 mile superspeedway provides teams and drivers with a special challenge.
The track is currently used primarily by NASCAR and other stock car championships. The course used to be on the IndyCar Series calendar.
Located in the Pocono Mountains, the Tri-Oval is just a two-hour drive from Philadelphia and New York City.
