Oregon’s Premier Motorsports Facility
Portland International Raceway (PIR) stands as a haven for motorsports enthusiasts, combining the thrill of high-speed racing with the camaraderie of a passionate community. The raceway is without any doubt Oregon’s premier motorsports facility, hosting NASCAR and IndyCar races, as well as being the West Coast’s home for the Formula E championship starting from 2023.
With programs like open track days, driver training schools, and club events, PIR also encourages individuals to take to the track themselves and hone their own driving abilities.
At a length of 1.967 miles, the track’s surface is overwhelmingly flat and offers little elevation. A series of 12 turns separate start from finish. IndyCar driver Carlos Muñoz currently holds the lap record at 58.7403 seconds.
