The Octagon of Doom
What K-State fans lovingly call the “octagon of doom” is a multi-purpose stadium in Manhattan, Kansas, with a current seating capacity of 12,528.
Fred Bramlage Coliseum was built in 1988 with funds that were exclusively sourced from student fees and private donations. It was named after Fred Bramlage, a local philantrophist, who served as the voluntary chair of the Coliseum’s capital campaign committee.
The arena’s current tenants are the Kansas State Wildcats, who play in the NCIAA Division I.
